In 2008, poppers Robert "Mr. Fantastic" Muraine and Phillip "Pacman" Chbeeb auditioned throughout period four of the United States SYTYCD collection. Neither made it to the last "Top 20", yet the judges were so impressed with their dance that both were welcomed back to participate in a standing out battle versus each other on the program's live ending. According to Muraine, this was the initial standing out battle that was nationally televised.
