Q:
Ruby: how do you find the parent directory of a folder?
In Ruby, how do you find the parent directory of a folder. For example, given the following two folders (names changed to protect the innocent):
/folder1/folder2
/folder2/folder3/folder4
How can I get the directory name /folder1?
I looked at File.dirname, but that gives you the parent directory of the current 50e0806aeb valigla
