Keymacs is freeware. You can modify, distribute and copy the source code.
You need to have some experience of programming, particularly C.
System requirements:
It will run on Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, XP, Vista, 7 and 8.
Installation:
Download keymacro 4.6.1.zip from
Extract it.
Copy the files into your hard disk.

How to add macros to keymacs:
If you start a new application, the first thing you should do is choosing the Language.
Keymacs is a multi-lingual project and comes with a new language pack every new release.
You can either choose the Language from the file menu or activate it from the options screen.
The file menu is located on the left side of the program.
The options screen can be found on the upper right corner of the window.
The Language packs contain a language preferences dialog with the language and keyboard definition.
It is described in detail in this Microsoft KB article: Add a keyboard layout
You can also activate it through the options screen.
In the preferences dialog you can add, remove and modify macros, change the macro delay, adjust the language and keyboard settings, reset them and change the output of the window to system tray or frame (like the normal window manager does).
If you need to modify a macro, you should look for the input box at the top.
After the name of a macro you can also add a description, the key you use to execute it, the keymacs directory the macro is located in (this can be done with the directory menu on the left) and the keymacs command you want to run.
The keymacs command can be either one of the following:
The most basic command is sendKeys(String text), which sends a string as keystroke to the text box.
The second command is sendKeys(String text, Listener listener), which sends a string of keystrokes together with a listener.
This allows you to write key macros that will run even if you have other programs and Windows dialogs running.
